MAINTENANCE MANAGER

The Role:

• As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing care and maintenance of our clients’ treasured gardens by your teams

• You’ll manage, coordinate schedules, work closely with clients, and help grow the maintenance division by prioritising our existing clients whilst securing new business.

• Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional professional service, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring the long-term success of your teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire the maintenance of beautiful gardens, ensuring our clients’ properties are their pride and joy.

• Build and nurture strong client relationships, addressing any concerns or requests.

• Manage and support a skilled team, ensuring they are highly trained and have the tools and support to complete tasks to the highest standards

• Oversee and coordinate the scheduling of multiple maintenance jobs across various client sites, ensuring efficiency and timely completion.

• Actively seek new opportunities within existing client relationships and through outreach to secure new maintenance prospects.

• Act as the primary point of contact for both clients and internal teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed about requirements, timelines, budgets, and expectations.

• Ensure accurate records of completed work, manage invoicing, and track the status of ongoing maintenance services for both internal purposes and client billing.

• Work alongside the leadership team to grow and develop the maintenance department, contributing to the success of the overall company.

What We’re Looking For:

• We’re looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities at once.

• If you have a strong background in garden maintenance, have experience leading teams, and enjoy fostering long-lasting client relationships, this is the role for you.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in garden maintenance, with proven leadership capabilities.

• A solid skillset in horticulture and a premium understanding of plant care and maintenance practices.

• Strong ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate multiple jobs and teams.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.

• Experience in business development and securing new maintenance prospects.

• Proficiency with operational programs and experience with maintenance management software.

• A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to address client issues and team challenges proactively.

SITE FOREMAN / EXPERIENCED LANDSCAPER

Full Time

• We’re a growing company with an amazing opportunity for an experienced landscaper with a high level of competency to join the team as a Site Manager.

• Company vehicle.

• Projects across Auckland’s inner-city suburbs.

• Great team culture and environment, in a growing company.

• 2+ years of experience delivering successful landscaping projects is desired for this role.

• passionate about bringing ideas to life with experience in construction
